WHY PRICKLY PEAR?
The Prickly Pear cactus is an amazing plant that has been used in Latin American natural medicines for thousands of years. Not only does it look cool, but the fruit that it bears are rich in antioxidants, electrolytes and nutrient dense. On top if being a superfruit, they also taste delicious and are more environmentally friendly then other fruits, due to requiring up to 80% less water then other fruits and plants.
WHAT ARE NOOTROPICS
Nootropics are naturally occuring substances with proven health benefits related to mental performance. With everyone competiting to have an edge in their daily life, Nootropics are proven to assist in memory function and mental accuity. Nootropics include L-theanine, coffee berry extract, green tea extract and Siberian Ginseng... all which can be found in our Hibiscus & Watermelon Cactus Water.
WHERE ARE YOUR INGREDIENTSSOURCED FROM?
Most of our ingredients (91% to be exact) come from Australia and have been carefully chosen because of their quality. However the core ingredient which is Prickly Pear juice comes from Nevada, Texas. While Prickly Pear cactus do grow in Australia, there currently aren't manufcaturing plants that create enough volume for our needs. We are hoping to change this in the future, meaning 100% of our ingredients would be local.
ARE YOUR DRINKS VEGAN?
Not all of them, but two are. Hibiscus & Watermelon and Prickly Pear are both 100% vegan. Cucumber & Mint uses Bovine Collagen which is taken from cow's. We explored using marine collagen, however were advised by our food scientist that the quality was no where near as good. Feel free to provide us feedback if you would like more Vegan options
WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH COLLAGEN
Collagen is a protein that naturally occurs in the human body (as well as animals). It is an amazing protein that places a crucial role in providing strenght and structure to skin, hair, nails and muscles. We only use high quality Bovine Collagen as it has the greatest research and is proven to be more effective then marine collagen (vegan collagen)
